I am obsessed with the 1950s, which is why I want to be transformed into a Vanities Girl. Readers of Vanity Fair magazine will be familiar with the concept. For 20 years, they have featured promising young stars on the first page of their Vanities section. About five years ago they tweaked the format and started featuring up & coming actresses in a 50s-style pinup shot.

I love the television show Revenge not only because of the brilliant actors and writers that make it all come together, but also because of the fashion. Each week I find myself drooling over Emily’s classic ivory and gold tones, and Ashley’s girly and colourful dresses. The show’s costume designer, Jill Ohannesson sources items from stores all over LA for each character.
